Electrolytic Cell Sodium Hypochlorite Generator (Blind Plate Series)

Based on sodium hypochlorite demand and installation requirements, we offer both single-plate and multi-plate electrolytic cells. Single-plate electrodes are suitable for smaller-sized electrolytic cells, while multi-plate electrode assemblies are designed for relatively larger units.
  • Electrolytic Cell Sodium Hypochlorite Generator (Blind Plate Series)

Description

Brine solution contains cations such as Na⁺, H⁺ and anions such as Cl⁻, OH⁻. When electrodes are inserted into the solution and a certain voltage is applied, the electrolyte conducts electricity through ion migration and electrode reactions:
  • Anions (Cl⁻, OH⁻) migrate to the anode
  • Cations (Na⁺, H⁺) migrate to the cathode
Ions undergo discharge reactions on the corresponding electrodes, generating target products through redox reactions
  • Anode reaction: 2Cl⁻ - 2e⁻ → Cl₂↑
  • Cathode reaction: 2H⁺ + 2e⁻ → H₂↑
 NaCl + H₂O + Direct Current → NaClO + H₂↑
